Applications
Welding of Creep resisting steels of CrMo type, e.g. BS 1501-620, 621 equivalent castings and forging.
Characteristics
N-8018-B2 is a basis coated hydrogen controlled electrode for low alloy and creep-resisting CrMo-steels. Maximum operation temperature 550°C.
Suitable for welding of thick steam pipe and repairing of cast steel.
Low spatter loss, ready slag detachment.
GUIDELINE IN USAGE
Keep the arc short. Preheating 200-250°C. Strees relieving 620°C DC welding by preference.
