For Sugar Mill (SMAW)
APPLICATION
The VHF-ASUCAL 80 process of surfacing treatment of sugar mill feed rolls by depositing a wear-resistant cane gripping globuar points or protrusions onto the sides and tips of roll teeth on a sugar rollifeed and crushing assemble.
CHARACTERISTICS
The essential feature of VHF-ASUCAL 80 is a high alloy electrode that is designed to maintain a constant self regulating arc for the bonding of the hard metal globules to the cast iron roll in the presence of sucrose juice and cane fiber. These conditions are normally considered to be distinctly unfavourable for obtaining a rough bond between high alloy carbide deposits and grey iron.
