DESCRIPTION
Suitable for wear and corrosion resistant overlays. The weld material has excellent properties as bushing metal with high surface loads. It is acid and erosion-resistant and sea water prof. Use DC (+) only.
INSTRUCTION FOR WELDING
(1) Keep the welding current as low as possible in the case of first-layer welding.
(2) Preheating is not necessary in the case of lining of mild steels. The preheating temperatures varies in accordance with quality of base metal, a preheating temperature of 150 - 250ºC is required in general.
(3) Preheat at 250ºC-300ºC is necessary in the case of welding brass.
(4) The preheat temperatures varies in accordance with the preheat temperatures.
(5) Keep the arc length as short as possible and don’t use too much weaving.
