DESCRIPTION
High alloyed bronze electrode contains aluminum nickel and manganese. The unique formula with the special coating making this electrode outstanding for a wide range applications.
APPLICATIONS
Structural joining, repair and surfacing of high manganese steel, tin bronzes (phosphor bronze) brass and copper, commonly used on ship propellers, turbines valves, thrust bearings, stirrer blades guides, suction rolls, and parts of hydraulic equipment, construction machines, fitting, instrument and pumps for the chemical paper industries. Dissimilar metals are also often joined with this electrode. Preheat copper base metal to 300ºC. Current DC or AC.
INSTRUCTION FOR WELDING
(1) Preheat at 250~300ºC is increasing in the case of welding of brass.
(2) The interlayer temperatures varies in accordance with the preheat temperatures.
(3) Keep the arc length as short as possible and don’t use too much weaving.
