DESCRIPTION
Most versatile bronze electrode with corrosion and sea water resistant deposit, and has a low coefficient of friction ideally suited for overlay work. It has high toughness, high tensile strength, crack resistance and affinity for most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, N-34N is often beat choice when dissimilar metals.
INSTRUCTION FOR WELDING
(1) Keep the welding current as low as possible in the case of first-layer welding.
(2) Preheat is not necessary in the case of lining of mild steels. The preheating temperatures varies in accordance with quality of base metal, a preheating temperature of 150 - 250ºC is required in general.
(3) Preheat at 250ºC-300ºC is necessary in the case of welding brass.
(4) The interlayer temperatures varies in accordance with the preheat temperatures.
(5) Keep the arc length as short as possible and don’t use too much weaving.
