DESCRIPTION
Deposit is sea water resistance. Good weldability and arc stability guarantee a porosity-free deposit.
APPLICATIONS
For joining and surfacing of copper-alloys, phosphor and tin bronzes. Deposit is sea water resistant. Current AC or DC+.
INSTRUCTION FOR WELDING
(1) Preheating and interpass temperature are required.
For phosphor bronze and gun metal 150~200ºC
For brass 250~300ºC
(2) Don’t use too much weaving.
The bead width should be kept within 3 times of rod diameter.
(3) Apply hot peening on every bead because the structure of deposited metal is rough at as welded condition. Hot peening is effective to improvement of mechanical properties.
